About Ridgewood Turkey Trot (Thanksgiving morning):
- The largest Thanksgiving event in the Triangle with over 3,000 runners from 33 states
- Includes 8K Race, 8K Fun Run, and Kid’s Dash
- Raises $30,000 for the National MS Society and the fight against MS
- Takes place at Ridgewood Shopping Center in Raleigh (Wade Ave & Ridge Rd)
About Oak City Mile (2nd Sunday afternoon in September):
- The premier 1-mile road race in the Triangle with $2,000 in cash prizes to help attract elite runners
- Includes Men’s Mile Race, Women’s Mile Race, and 1 Mile Fun Run with 500+ runners expected from across NC
- Benefits the ALS Association Jim “Catfish” Hunter Chapter, a 501(c)3 non-profit.
